StringMasters is focussed on activating research and publishing papers that emerge out of discussions at the workshops. The research output of these meetings has been collated as special issues of international journals:

StringMasters 2007 & 2008 - Special Issue on Stringology of Fundamenta Informaticae, edited by Ryszard Janicki, Simon J. Puglisi and M. Sohel Raman.

StringMasters 2009 & 2010 - StringMasters Special Issue of the Journal of Discrete Algorithms, edited by Jackie Daykin, Bill Smyth and Lynette van Zijl.

News! Selected papers from Stringmasters 2011 Series, in all the three locations, including Palermo, will be published as Special Issue of Journal of Discrete Algorithms, edited by Maxime Crochemore and Jackie Daykin.
